Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus) - as well as being very pretty to look at, it is also a type of edible flower and have medicinal properties.Each flower is 2–3 cm diameter with five petals displaying serrated edges.
At the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton on 29 April 2011, Kate included sweet william in her bouquet, a tribute to her bridegroom.

ReplyDeleteUsually use as a garnish for food, then can eat after that. This one has medicinal properties it seems, but couldn't find what it is good for. Need to do more research.
