Sometimes I wish I knew the names of these butterflies instead of just calling them "butterfly with whatever-colour wings". I used to spend hours googling them to find a match but alas I do not have the time and luxury to do so anymore. Anyway just hope you guys enjoy the photos and do enlight me if you ever know the name of the particular species.

Three hairy yellow caterpillars sitting on a water pipe. By evening, only one (the smart one that hid under the pipe in the shade) was still alive, the other two looked like they died from dehydration or heat stroke :(
This was taken in the morning (9am)

We just had the grass cut in our garden a couple of days ago. Usually, when the grass is cut, the insects don't really have a hiding place anymore and will come out to play or hang around on our exterior wall. Here's a spider with hairy, translucent legs. Stay tuned for more photos of insects from our garden.

I imagine this is what a male ant would say to the sexy lady ant if he was to pick her up:
Hello miss, you're looking mighty fine from
behind where I stand

Incy wincy spider
Walking along the leaf
Along came a fly
And whoosh the spider goes
Into his mouth where it belongs
And incy wincy spider
Says yummy yummy fly.
Getting ready to pounce
Nom nom nom
Something tastes mighty good tonight

As you know by now, we love watching sunrise. Everyday, the sunrise looks different - perhaps more clouds, brighter sky etc. This sunrise we captured was a beautiful sunrise with misty looking clouds.
Do the clouds here look like a goose? (see it?)
Orange sky - and hey little birdie!
Soaking up the sun
Have a nice day everyone!

This insect has a long body, with yellow coloured body and black stripes running across it. It's quite small, as you can see, barely the size of 1 daisy petal.

And here is the sunrise that Mr. Snail climbed up to see.. beautiful, isn't it?
Love how the clouds look slightly misty and grey, contrasting against the orange sky.
