Giant millipede - KL, Malaysia

I was in the garden hanging out the laundry, when I saw something wiggling on the ground. OMG it's a giant millipede. I used my hand for size comparison, this was at least 1 foot long and as thick as my forefinger.

Earlier that morning, we spotted some durian flowers in a nursery.

Pepino dulce melon in my garden (solanum muricatum) - KL, Malaysia

The pepino dulce plant in my garden, also known as solanum muricatum. The taste is a cross between a honeydew melon and cucumber. The fruit is a purple hue with purple stripes and becomes more yellow as it ripens.

Mulberry fruit and plant - KL, Malaysia

After searching for months, I finally found this mulberry plant that I can plant in my garden. Mulberry (in chinese it's called "song yip"), the fruits change from green to red (ripening) to black when fully ripe. My kids love visiting the plant (almost everyday) to see if any fruit are ready to be eaten ;)
