Gong Xi Fa Cai! How's your Chinese New Year celebration going?

Here are some photos taken on the night of Day 8 CNY - whereby we give our offerings to the Jade Emperor. This occasion is also called "bai tin gong".

One of the rituals is to burn "paper" for the Jade Emperor. What does this flame look like?

Gong Xi Fa Cai to all! Hope you are enjoying the Chinese New Year celebrations. This red flower is bought specially for ushering in "good luck" to our home :)

Very excited to share my new purchase with you all - bought this for CNY. I think it's so nice and festive... the flowers look like Chinese lanterns (tanglung), do you agree?
