White-yellow butterfly with brown edges - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Sometimes I wish I knew the names of these butterflies instead of just calling them "butterfly with whatever-colour wings". I used to spend hours googling them to find a match but alas I do not have the time and luxury to do so anymore. Anyway just hope you guys enjoy the photos and do enlight me if you ever know the name of the particular species.

Three hairy yellow caterpillars sitting on a water pipe. By evening, only one (the smart one that hid under the pipe in the shade) was still alive, the other two looked like they died from dehydration or heat stroke :(

We just had the grass cut in our garden a couple of days ago. Usually, when the grass is cut, the insects don't really have a hiding place anymore and will come out to play or hang around on our exterior wall. Here's a spider with hairy, translucent legs.  Cari makan means looking for food in Malay. These ants must be looking for some sweet nectar from these curry leaf flowers.

Beautiful sunrise with misty clouds - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

As you know by now, we love watching sunrise. Everyday, the sunrise looks different - perhaps more clouds, brighter sky etc. This sunrise we captured was a beautiful sunrise with misty looking clouds.

Do the clouds here look like a goose? (see it?)

Yellow-black striped insect on white daisy - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This insect has a long body, with yellow coloured body and black stripes running across it. It's quite small, as you can see, barely the size of 1 daisy petal.
